Departing from the marina at Three Waters Resort & Marina, this trip offers quick access to nearby coral reef and patch reef snorkeling sites so you can spend more time in the water and less time traveling.

Once anchored, you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel in clear tropical water filled with vibrant reef fish, coral formations, and other marine life that make the Florida Keys reef system one of the most unique ecosystems in North America.

When conditions allow, trips may visit well-known snorkel areas such as Hens and Chickens Reef or Cheeca Rocks, both known for shallow coral formations and abundant marine life. On calm days with favorable conditions, offshore locations near Alligator Reef Light may also be explored.

Whether it’s your first time snorkeling or you’re an experienced ocean explorer, this trip offers a relaxed and memorable way to experience the natural beauty of Islamorada’s reef environment.

We recommend bringing a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a small bag for personal items. A small cooler for drinks and snacks is also welcome.

Snorkeling locations vary from trip to trip depending on weather, wind, and water conditions to ensure the safest experience and best visibility. When conditions allow, two of our favorite spots are Hens and Chickens Reef and Cheeca Rocks, both known for their shallow coral formations, excellent visibility, and abundant tropical marine life. Your captain will choose the best site for the day’s conditions to provide the most enjoyable snorkeling experience possible.
Alligator Reef Lighthouse is one of the most well-known snorkel sites in the Florida Keys, located about five miles offshore. When weather and sea conditions are favorable, we may visit this area. However, the exact snorkel location is always chosen by the captain based on factors like wind, waves, current, and water visibility to ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience. On some days, that means snorkeling closer reef sites that offer calmer conditions and excellent marine life viewing.
Gratuity is not included. While never required, tipping is customary in the charter and tour industry as a way to thank your captain and crew for providing a safe and enjoyable experience. Tips are always appreciated.
